introduction
this is a basic guide for how i made my web clique, the maisonette.
the maisonette is structured like a box with several keys inserted into it. each key has a keychain designed by a friend. when coming up with this idea, i knew i wanted the following:
- a customized background to show off the key box, that would also adjust to devices
- keychains that swung when you hovered over them
its main features that i will probably want to revisit in the future are:
- using a background image template
- keychain swing animation
- positioning an image
- image template setup for friends
- changing the colors of an element using the filter tool
this guide may be helpful to people other than me, but maybe only if you are a lot like me, because i’ve written this for myself so it might be not as easy to parse as an outsider. please feel free to pick and choose what might serve you.
